The Company

MedCap.Org, a consulting company that offers its clients a variety of consulting, research, and administrative management services, employs a unique nonfinancial team approach to the analysis of startups, emerging growth companies, and established businesses relative to funding decisions and the development of capital acquisition strategies. Most startups, emerging companies, and many established businesses need capital; however, they often lack quality financial metrics. And, they are subject to many of the same inherent challenges and risks. Our unique team approach and research of the nonfinancial aspects of a business helps develop a detailed understanding of the many operational aspects that affect a businesses and its management team rarely, if ever, addressed by financial advisors and small advisory firms.

Meet our Advisory Board

Ben Meyer

Mr. Meyer, a published software engineer with more than ten years dedicated custom programing experience which includes several open source projects, has a deep background in computer‐based simulation, data modeling, data analysis, and web technologies. Mr. Meyer leads the technical analysis of our target companies with an emphasis on system architecture, database analysis, and system integration. Mr. Meyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington State University.

Grant McCallum

Mr. McCallum, a nuclear engineer and project manager with thirty-seven years’ experience in nuclear safety, design engineering, project management, business operations, and technical support, specializes in hazards analysis, engineering studies, management assessments, operational readiness reviews, compliance audits, facility reviews, commissioning support, and quality assurance. Mr. McCallum’s expertise includes project planning and execution, staff management, recruiting, team building, marketing, and site and resource management. Mr. McCallum holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University.

Wallace Glausi

Mr. Glausi, a practicing attorney with Ater Wynne LLP (Portland, OR) and admitted to practice in New York, Oregon, Washington, and the U.S. Tax Court, counsels start-ups, emerging growth companies, established businesses, and investment funds on issues related to formation, financing, growth, portfolio investments, and liquidity. Mr. Glausi also represents companies on a variety of transaction related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, complex strategic, equity, debt, and venture financing, and stock and equity incentive plans. Mr. Glausi is a graduate of University of Oregon School of Law and holds a Master of Laws from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Gordon Comfort

Mr. Comfort, an innovative thinker and established executive with fifteen years’ progressive leadership and administrative responsibilities, is an expert in evaluating, creating, growing, and sustaining high performing teams. Mr. Comfort’s core competencies include strategy design and development, P&L management, employee coaching and development, development of strategic partnerships, influence and working with legislative and regulatory policies, and training, curriculum, and performance evaluation. Mr. Comfort, a pending Ph.D. graduate, holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University and Master of Education from Harvard University.

Torry Webb

Mr. Webb, a business development consultant with more than 20 years’ principal C‐level experience, specializes in analyzing startups and young private companies with an emphasis on business and new product development, strategic planning, and financial modeling. Additional skill sets include capital acquisition, corporate governance, training, technical writing, and sales and marketing. Mr. Webb also has more than 20 years’ combined experience in the financial services and risk management arenas including insurance, securities, business valuation, and commercial appraisal. Executives in the investment, risk management, and legal industries consider him an expert in numerous areas. Mr. Webb holds a Professional Diploma from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Alan Leverett

Mr. Leverett, an accomplished management professional with an emphasis in business administration and development, has more than thirty years’ experience in business administration and human resources, training initiatives that support strategic business objectives, acquisition and mergers, international sales and distribution, strategic financial planning, communications, and competitive analysis. Mr. Leverett is a successful leader and team builder who understands how to develop and train a highly knowledgeable and effective staff. Mr. Leverett holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology and Education from Texas A & M University.
